Haven't posted in a month or so but wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2011.

Pineapple Quilt

Thought I would post a few pics of my progress on my pineapple quilt. It's amazing that out of all those little strips that I meticulously cut , thousands of them, that this will create a queen sized quilt. I'm loving it, I think it'll be beautiful.

Still Working on my One Block Wonder

It's been a few months since I've posted anything about my One Block Wonder.....I'm adding the borders now.....more pics to follow, soon.

New Sewing Area

Well, the lightbulb finally came on and I decided to take down the spare bed in my other bedroom and convert it to my sewing/craft room.....tired of my whole house being one big clutter basket of sewing, fabric and the like.....needed to centralize. I love it now! Here's a sampling of it getting together, and of course, Max, staking his place in the realm of things and making himself right at home.

One Block Wonder Cubed Book

Just received the 3rd book in the One Block Wonder series. What a great book! Will have to rethink my borders on my OBW, now. Will post a pic soon. I am currently working on 3 different quilts at the same time right now, my OBW, A Pineapple block quilt and a pattern from a Quilting Mag with a quilt from the first Stonehenge line. I love them all! The cats all seem to be napping for now. It's only a matter of time before they all wake up wanting treats or a bit of attention from the Daddy. Have to get up early in the morn and go to the quilt shop......

Well, my butt should be in bed but still trying to familiarize myself with this blogging, will need to invest more time reading instructions and perusing other's blogs for ideas. Just finished a pineapple block

This is block number one, finished number two, now just 28 more blocks to go. Have a good night or morning I should say.

My One Block Wonder- draft quilt

Here is a picture of one of my summer projects. A One Block Wonder with some cubes.....I'm still finding the correct positions for my hexagons and cubes.
